When we get to the places that lie beyond
On that island over there
On that port over there
Here on this old pirate galleon
We’ll all be deckhands and captains
When we get to the places that lie beyond
You won’t remember where we had set sail from
And when the night falls and the day goes away
We will always be going after the moon

Full moon, even itself is rapping
And it’s been a dozen years since the galleon set sail
In its cargo songs, old and new
And in the mast I’ve hang a red -and-black flag
I have an earring on my ear and on my left shoulder
I’ve carved a compass to show me the way
We are blown by an old stubborn Greco-Levantes
And an old story assists me
To remember that in the first manifestation
I attended the school of Freestyle Productions at Perama
Honor and pride, and then black moon
For years is flirting with the galleon
It hangs around in the seas, it has rebels for crew
It is not afraid of caravels, brigs, schooners and bombardiers
It ‘s just me and you at the wheel we have no leader
holding together in the privateering good and the evil knife
In Sirius, in Aldebaran, in Venus
Up in Altair and in Aposperitis tail
in truth, in dreams, on the land and in the air
let’s go to reach the places thatlie beyond

When we get to the places that lie beyond
On that island over there
On that port over there
Here on this old pirate galleon
We’ll all be deckhands and captains
When we get to the places that lie beyond
You won’t remember where we had set sail from
And when the night falls and the day goes away
We will always be going after the moon

Then the galleon moored and we strew
we started our Inland stroll all over the world
And following the eternal curiosity
it took us like Ulysses 10 years
Some Roxanne from Persia had me enchanted
Some Circe had stolen my heart
A Calypso on an island I left behind
A Penelope still waits for me to go back
In Mexico I had bet it all for all
And my mind is being tortured by a spanish guitar
A navy backpack I have for home
And a cave in southern Crete for hideout
The galleon took me as well with her when it passed
one more paddle, to reach the places that lie beyond
to take but also to give, to make you stubborn as well maybe
and perhaps also to give rise to that human wave
We got lost in the musics and we traveled
Sometimes for good sometimes for bad
But the ship is strong and maybe one day
From its bow we wiil see the places that lie beyond

When we get to the places that lie beyond
On that island over there
On that port over there
Here on this old pirate galleon
We’ll all be deckhands and captains
When we get to the places that lie beyond
You won’t remember where we had set sail from
And when the night falls and the day goes away
We will always be going after the moon
